Natus Vincere has announced the signing of Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, a former member of Team Liquid. He will replace Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko, one of the founding members and former in-game leader of the CS:GO squad.

After s1mple’s contract with Liquid came to an end, rumors in the CS:GO community named Natus Vincere as the most likely candidate for his new home.

Now Na`Vi have confirmed the move and are saying goodbye to Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko.

Zeus has been a member of Natus Vincere since the organization's start in December 2009. In 2010 Na`Vi became the team of the year, after winning all three major events (WCG, ESWC, IEM IV Global Finals) and several other events in Counter-Strike 1.6.

For the past few months, the Natus Vincere squad was unable to replicate their form from late 2015 and early 2016, when they triumphed at IEM San Jose, DreamHack Leipzig 2016 and CounterPit Season 2 Finals.

This year they landed a semi-final finish at ELEAGUE and a 5th-8th place at ESL One Cologne. They placed second at the previous two Majors, MLG Columbus and DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca.

Current Na`Vi roster:

  • GuardiaN
  • flamie
  • s1mple
  • Edward
  • seized
  • starix (coach)

New Na`Vi lineup will make their LAN debut at SL i-League Season 2 Finals taking place in Nanjing, China from September 7-11.
