Mousesports Is Looking To Recruit A Team In Overwatch

Famous eSports organization is looking to pick up a team in Blizzard’s new FPS Overwatch and scouting for members has already begun.

Mousesports is one of the longest-standing organizations in eSports that was founded in 2002 in Berlin as a Counter-Strike team. Now the Germany-based company is planning to sign Overwatch players and to become a part of the rapidly growing scene of Blizzard’s new shooter.

Overwatch will become Mousesports’ seventh division. Other games in the organization’s portfolio are: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Vainglory, Fifa, StarCraft 2, Trackmania and Shootmania. The new roster will be captained by former Unreal Tournament pro player Klaus “Frag^m” Wiedemann. According to the official press release, the search for potential players has already started.

Wiedemann states, that the organization is looking for aspiring players to form a predominantly German squad, which will be built entirely from the ground up. So this means that Mousesports aren’t looking to purchase an already existing roster with top players.

“The teams in Overwatch have not really settled in. I am looking to build a team, that not only has a high skill ceiling, but also clicks on a personal level. I feel that long term, this approach fits the mousesports philosophy best”, says Wiedemann.
